Clothes dryer lint trap

A fireman's wife told me that the most common fires are caused by clothes dryer clogged vent traps. Since I heard that, I check each week to ensure I have removed the built up lint from my clothes dryer.
Do you know the signs that your clothes dryer has when it has to be cleaned?
Your laundry dryer has an unusual odour or burnt smell.
Your clothes are not completely dry when the cycle is done.
Your laundry room is warmer than usual.
Your clothes are taking longer to dry than normal.
A good habit to develop when using your dryer is visually inspect the lint flap (trap) just before starting to use it every time you dry clothes.
